About Prosthodontics:

Prosthodontics is one of the nine dental specialties recognized by the American Dental Association (ADA).

Prosthodontics is the dental specialty pertaining to the diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and maintenance of oral function, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth. Cosmetic dentistry fall under the field of prosthodontics.

Prosthodonodists are the only specialists who are trained as cosmetic dentists, as recognized by the ADA, and often encounter clinical challenges to fix failed treatments rendered by non qualified “cosmetic dentists”.

Procedures typically performed by Dr. Prada:

  • Crowns and bridges over natural teeth.
  • Crowns and bridges over dental implants.
  • Porcelain veneers.
  • Dentures.
